Delete your AutoYou account

If you use AutoYou Cloud Pair, you can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time. If you only use local pairing (Telegram, WhatsApp, or Signal), no account exists and no data is stored on AutoYou infrastructure.

Option 1 — From the app

Delete your account from the AutoYou iOS or Android app

  1. Open the AutoYou app on your iPhone or Android device.
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon).
  3. Scroll to the AutoYou Cloud Pair section.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. A confirmation dialog will appear. Tap Delete Permanently.
  6. Your account and all data will be deleted immediately.

Option 2 — By email

Request deletion by contacting support

If you cannot access the app, send an email to support@autoyou.me from the email address associated with your account and request account deletion. We will process your request and confirm deletion within 48 hours.

What gets deleted

All of your data is permanently removed

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently deleted from our servers:

  • User record — email address, user ID, OAuth provider identifiers
  • Registered devices — device names, public keys, and pairing state
  • Messages and transfer logs — any relay messages or file transfer records
  • Subscription tokens — Apple original transaction ID, Google purchase token, Stripe customer ID
  • Session data — authentication tokens, SSE queues, and relay queue entries

What is not affected

Local data and active subscriptions

  • Local app data — server passwords, STUN/TURN credentials, and QR-derived configuration stored on your phone are cleared when you delete your account. You can also uninstall the app to remove all local data.
  • Your AutoYou server — data on your own computer (chat history, notes, agent configurations) is not affected by account deletion since it is stored locally on your hardware.
  • Active subscriptions — deleting your account does not automatically cancel your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. To stop being billed, cancel your subscription in your device's subscription settings before deleting your account.

Retention period

Deletion is immediate and permanent

Account deletion is processed immediately. There is no grace period or recovery window. Once deleted, your data cannot be restored. If you sign up again in the future, a new account will be created with no link to the previous one.
